About this Job
Location: Remote, US
Length: 12 Month Contract

Qualifications:
- 8+ years in AWS cloud application development and 5+ years in architecting cloud applications
- Proficiency with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM) and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Experience optimizing cloud applications for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency
- 3+ years of experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or GitHub Actions
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices (e.g., encryption, IAM, network security) and scanning tools (e.g. Wiz)
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
- Proficiency with AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, or similar tools for monitoring, logging, and performance tracking
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., python, Javascript)
- Experience with GitHub, Zenhub, or Jira for collaboration
- Strong communication and mentoring skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Expertise in translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions
- Strong understanding of system integration, including APIs, microservices, and middleware
- Hands-on experience integrating with both internal and external systems
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and automation tools
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
- Strong grasp of security principles, including data protection, identity management, and compliance standards
