Job Description:
The Lab Vantage LIMS Specialist is responsible for accurately setting up, cleansing, and loading master data into a global laboratory information management system in accordance with established data principles and guidelines. This role supports data integrity across laboratory operations and helps establish sustainable site-level processes for ongoing data management. The position works collaboratively with Quality Control, Manufacturing Operations, and global LIMS stakeholders. The role operates with direction and broad guidance, with final results reviewed upon completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform local master data setup and loading in alignment with global guidelines and data principles.
Build and enter required master data into the global LIMS, including consumables, sampling plans, specifications, parameter lists, test methods, and laboratory execution templates.
Conduct local data cleansing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
Develop clear local work instructions describing the execution of global processes at the site level.
Collaborate with Quality Control, Manufacturing Operations, and global LIMS stakeholders to support effective system implementation and data management.
Apply knowledge of laboratory operations and data requirements to identify and resolve data issues.
Support quality, compliance, validation, and continuous-improvement activities related to LIMS and laboratory data.
Manage assigned projects and deliverables within established timelines.
Maintain compliance with applicable cGMP, quality, health, and safety requirements.
Operate independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
Approximately 10 or more years of experience in Quality Control, enterprise systems, validation, or a related area.
Experience with data management, master data setup, and data-loading processes.
Proficiency with Lab Vantage LIMS or a similar laboratory information management system.
Knowledge of Quality Control laboratory operations and related data requirements.
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop clear and concise work instructions.
Knowledge of quality systems, including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and related operational processes.
Working knowledge of process, equipment, cleaning, and computer system validation.
Demonstrated ability to manage medium- to large-scale projects within required timeframes.
Strong planning, organization, prioritization, decision-making, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across departments and with internal or external customers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Business-fluent English communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to GMP compliance, workplace safety, collaboration, agility, customer focus, business acumen, leadership, and results.
