Job Description:
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities within the Procurement & Property Department. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive incoming packages daily and review tracking and arrival information as needed.
Update receipt information in the database upon arrival.
File and maintain all shipping and receiving documentation.
Load and unload trucks as required.
Assist employees with packages and materials when needed.
Pack and ship packages of various sizes while ensuring items are properly protected.
Coordinate the packaging and shipment of oversized items.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years of shipping and receiving experience.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks associated with the position.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions accurately.
