Digital Prospectors Attends ‘I AM ONE: NH's Day to End Childhood Homelessness’
As a corporate supporter of “Families in Transition,” Digital Prospectors Corp. attended the I AM ONE: NH’s Day to End Childhood Homelessness event. Over 2,500 business, government and community leaders, families, and the general public supported the event on Thursday, September 4 at Veterans Park in Manchester.
The purpose of the event was to spread the awareness and put an end to childhood homelessness in the Granite State. There was live music, great food, and fun for kids and families.
“It’s always humbling to be a part of a charity that supports kids and families in need,” said Chris Roos, IT staffing recruiter at DPC. “It was rewarding to be with other people that have the same goals and care about getting families back on their feet. It’s an honor to be a part of an organization like Digital Prospectors Corp. that has done so much for families in need over the years and continues to do so.”
Families in Transition is a non-profit organization in New Hampshire, dedicated to helping homeless individuals and families find and maintain affordable housing. FIT believes that having a home “is a basic human right and is fundamental to becoming an engaged and contributing member of our community.”
