DPC Founder Profiled in NH Newspaper
Digital Prospectors is making headlines again, but this time, the spotlight is on DPC co-founder Don Catino.
Don recently sat down for an interview with Seacoast Media Group (The Portsmouth Herald, Exeter News-Letter) to talk about his entrepreneurship in turning DPC into a multimillion dollar business, as well as working side-by-side with his wife Jessica Catino, DPC’s president.
“You hear you’re not supposed to do that but it’s worked really well for us,” Catino said of working with his wife. “We’re always talking shop, even at home. We laugh, ‘What do other couples talk about?’”
Before founding DPC in 1999, Catino worked a string of side jobs that ranged from door-to-door book sales to driving a muffin van. Today, he heads an embedded recruiter that places hundreds of IT professionals nationwide and is listed as one of New Hampshire’s top 100 private companies. DPC was also recently named #2 on the list of Best Small Companies to Work For by Business NH Magazine.
On his career path, Catino said, “It taught me persistence and how to overcome rejection. It was a great experience, and it’s a large part of my success today.”
