Our client is seeking an Equipment Integration Engineer, who will play a vital role in enhancing semiconductor manufacturing processes. In this dynamic position, you'll characterize, design, test, deploy, and support cutting-edge equipment integration hardware and software solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Perform characterization of semiconductor equipment SECS and GEM communication and process scenarios.
- Document equipment integration requirements for new equipment purchases.
- Collaborate with Process, Equipment, MCS, MES, and AMHS Engineering teams to develop tailored equipment integration software solutions.
- Coordinate and monitor service installations with Facilities and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Deploy equipment integration software and hardware for both new and existing tools.
- Configure and implement Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) and Advanced Process Control (APC) solutions, working closely with Process, Equipment, AMHS, and Controls Engineering teams.
- Maintain status updates on equipment integration development and deployment in project tracking software.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, specifically with SEMI standards for tool controls.
- Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (REL 7 or 8) and/or Microsoft Server OS.
- Programming experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, and C#.
- Familiarity with Tool Command Language (TCL) and Python programming.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation.
- Proficient in Bash shell scripting and/or Windows PowerShell scripting.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with limited direction and supervision.
- Experience with equipment interfaces into a semiconductor MES.
- Knowledge of SEMI Standards: E5, E4/E37, E30, E90, E94/E40, E87, E84.
- Excellent teamwork skills, detail-oriented, and organized with a strong sense of ownership over responsibilities.
- Due to the nature of the work candidates must be a United States Citizen or United States Permanent Resident.
