Position: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Woodland, CA (Onsite)
Length: 3-6 months

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who is passionate about fostering a supportive, compliant, and performance-driven workplace. This customer-centric role will serve as a key point of contact for all associates, offering guidance and expertise on HR matters across all levels within our manufacturing facility. The HRBP will play a crucial role in supporting HR activities, such as compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. In this position, you will work closely with the HR team and organizational leaders to ensure the employee experience is optimized while supporting the broader business goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing-related employment laws, update and communicate HR policies, and support areas like employee relations, compensation, and leave management.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs, lead recruitment for manufacturing roles, and manage the onboarding process.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, provide coaching on performance and conflict resolution, and manage employee concerns and investigations.
  • Guide performance expectations, support development opportunities, and assist in implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles, and work with teams to monitor and enhance employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports, and analyze data to support organizational health discussions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems (i.e., Workday or similar).
  • Strong understanding of compliance and employee engagement in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience in leading or contributing to continuous improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with California employment laws and practices.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information and manage investigations effectively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance employee advocacy with business priorities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Proven ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong collaboration, project management, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Frequent walking, talking, and hearing, with occasional standing, sitting, and hand use.
  • Vision capabilities: close, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Dynamic setting combining office and manufacturing environments, with occasional work outside the office.
