Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RF Design Electrical Engineer to join an innovative R&D team focused on the design and testing of cutting-edge high-frequency (HF/VHF) RF amplifiers. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation technologies used in industrial and medical device applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong analog and RF circuit design skills and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Design, test, and validate new and existing RF, analog, and power electronic circuits.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, firmware, software, and PCB design engineers, to develop high-performance electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex circuit design issues across various stages of development.
- Contribute to PCB design efforts, including schematic capture, layout review, and documentation.
- Support lab testing and validation activities with hands-on work involving AC/DC voltages and RF power.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in an engineering role with a focus on analog and RF circuit design.
- Proven experience designing and working with high power RF amplifiers.
- Proficient in using laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Practical exposure to PCB design flow, including schematic capture and layout documentation.
- Familiarity with key RF concepts such as impedance matching, transmission line theory, and RF transformers.
- Experience in power amplifier design is highly desirable.
- Proficient in PCB design tools such as OrCAD, Cadence, PADS, or Allegro.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools (i.e., PSpice); exposure to EM simulation tools like Ansys is a plus.
- Comfortable working in lab environments with high-voltage and RF systems.
