Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Engineer II to support research, design, development, and manufacturing efforts for diagnostic systems. The successful candidate will contribute to engineering activities using established R&D protocols, with moderate independence and technical responsibility. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer looking to make an impact in a regulated, high-tech environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Serve as an individual contributor or technical lead for designated engineering projects with minimal supervision.
- Manage deliverables and tasks in alignment with approved project timelines and corporate objectives.
- Conduct complaint investigations and perform data analysis to support product quality and improvement.
- Execute design verification and validation (V&V) testing, risk assessments, and document results accordingly.
- Provide technical support for existing product lines, including troubleshooting and defect analysis.
- Identify anomalies or outliers in test results and explain potential product impacts.
- Author and maintain documentation to support design control processes and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
- 2–4 years of product development or relevant engineering experience, with level commensurate to education.
- Experience in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or Medical Device industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with regulated product development environments and associated quality systems is a strong advantage.
