Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative New Product Development (NPD) team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical engineering professional to play a key role in designing and developing advanced systems focused on vibration control and magnetic field cancellation technologies. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical acumen, and a hands-on mindset to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Lead the design and development of robust electrical systems from initial requirements through system integration and testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, firmware, mechanical, and controls engineers to develop cost-effective, integrated solutions.
- Drive the end-to-end development of innovative components and systems: conceptual design, simulation, prototyping, documentation, and manufacturing support.
- Perform system-level and component-level troubleshooting, testing, and debugging.
- Develop and execute verification strategies including unit and integration testing.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives on existing products.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee third-party resources as needed.
- Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to project planning and justification.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope.
- Maintain technical expertise in company products and support internal teams and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical system design and development.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
- Proficient in ECAD tools such as Altium, Eagle, or OrCAD.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital signal processing.
- Experience with data acquisition systems, ADC/DAC operations, and sensor interfacing.
- Skilled in using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, soldering tools, etc.).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, Parallel) and memory types (ROM, RAM).
- Knowledge of power distribution and amplification techniques (AC/DC).
- Experience with simulation tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, SPICE, or Multisim.
- Working knowledge of CE/UL marking and ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience with embedded programming (C, C++, C#, or Python) is preferred.
- Exposure to applications involving acoustics, mechanical vibration, or magnetic field technologies is a plus.
