Digital Prospectors Sponsors Christmas For a Record 53 Children Through Families in Transition
All of us at Digital Prospectors are great admirers of the work done by Families in Transition (FIT), an incredible non-profit that helps homeless individuals and families throughout New Hampshire. And while we strive to support FIT all year long, the Christmas season presents a special opportunity we get especially excited about.
“Our favorite part of the year is the year-end gift donations to children in need,” said Sabrina Dugas, our HR and Office Manager. “We take pride in the time and effort we put forth so that every kid gets as many things on their wish list as possible, if not everything!”
This year we sponsored a Digital Prospectors’ record 53 children.
Notes Sabrina: “What an honor it is to be a part of something that allows a child to have a little magic on Christmas that otherwise might not have.”
We actually had more hopeful sponsors in our office than there were children at FIT, so we made an additional donation of household items. Five high chairs and 300 towels were given to the organization to help families get on their feet.
We consider ourselves fortunate to be in a position to help out our neighbors in need and look forward to continuing our community outreach throughout 2016.
