Digital Prospectors Volunteers Help Grow Families in Transition's Future Community Garden
Last month we were honored to spend a day volunteering at Families in Transition‘s (FIT) Lowell Street location in Manchester, NH. Our team dug right in, helping to clean the facilities and prepare the site for FIT’s future community garden, and were touched to receive the following note from volunteer coordinators Sophia and Emily:
To the wonderful team at Digital Prospectors,
Thank you so much for making Families in Transition part of your team building day. We are very appreciative that you were able to come out and volunteer at our Lowell Street building and at the site of our future community garden. Because of the time and effort you dedicated to these projects, our families at Lowell Street can enjoy a clean and beautiful kitchen and our garden will have rich soil in the spring. You are all welcome back in the spring to see the site’s transformation and, if you are ready to move more dirt, plant fruit trees!
Thank you again for your continuous dedication to FIT. It is because of committed supporters like you that we are able to serve over 600 homeless individuals and families each year. We look forward to seeing many of you in the next few weeks when dropping off Thanksgiving Turkeys and then FIT Wish gifts for our children!
Sincerely,
Sophia and Emily
We always enjoy the opportunity to work with our friends at Families in Transition, and look forward to the upcoming season of giving.
