Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior BI Analyst to join their team. As the Senior BI Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights, uncover trends to support strategic initiatives, and optimize processes for enhanced efficiency and growth. You will lead projects, mentor junior analysts, and utilize cutting-edge BI platforms and data technologies in a dynamic manufacturing context.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Collaborate with business teams to define reporting requirements and translate them into actionable data insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Monitor and refine reporting solutions for accuracy and relevance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and provide statistical insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance, working with IT and data teams to optimize infrastructure.
- Manage analytics projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Present data-driven insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior analysts, advocate for BI tools, and drive innovation in analytics processes.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Experience with Power BI, strong experience with SQL and data warehousing skills.
- Expertise in extracting, manipulating, visualizing, and modeling large datasets.
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and Lakehouse concepts, ETL processes, and related technologies utilizing Microsoft Synapse Analytics and Databricks.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience working with Azure-based data platforms.
- Must possess a strong business acumen with the ability to determine business needs and putting it into practice.
- Experience managing multiple projects and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
