Our client is seeking a proactive and innovative Systems Application Analyst to support the evolution of advanced manufacturing systems within a high-tech, mission-driven environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives by developing integrated solutions that enhance production efficiency, data visibility, and process automation. The ideal candidate will have experience across PLM, ERP, and MES platforms, and a passion for turning data into actionable insight within complex fabrication workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure system specifications that align with business requirements while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead or support planning and deployment of new systems and enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal software and cybersecurity standards.
- Evaluate the interface between business operations and systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Design, test, and document system parameters, modifications, and configurations to support long-term system sustainability and data integrity.
- Analyze manufacturing workflows and implement digital solutions to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual touchpoints, and drive throughput.
- Design and implement integrations between PLM, ERP, MES, and other digital manufacturing systems to enable seamless data exchange and real-time monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and production, to ensure successful delivery and adoption of digital tools and platforms.
- Support ongoing system maintenance, including version upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting in line with business and operational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital implementation, automation, or technology integration within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with the implementation and integration of PLM, ERP, or MES systems.
- Proven analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with a keen eye for improving system functionality and operational performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, technology-rich setting focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience with manufacturing software such as SAP, FactoryLogix, Aras Innovator, or MES platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a dynamic environment is advantageous.
- Due to the nature of the work, an Interim clearance is required, however the candidate will need to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret clearance is a plus).
