Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Engineer to play a central role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence by transforming manual workflows into intelligent, automated systems. As part of a collaborative IT team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, building machine learning models, and integrating AI capabilities within existing enterprise environments to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across multiple departments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to automate business processes such as service desk functions, administrative tasks, and quality assurance testing.
  • Architect scalable AI systems that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure while accommodating future growth.
  • Build and manage robust, end-to-end data pipelines for AI applications using tools like Apache Airflow and cloud-native services.
  • Implement ETL processes, data validation, governance, and monitoring systems to ensure high-quality data input into AI models.
  • Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models for targeted use cases, leveraging techniques such as prompt engineering and transfer learning.
  • Create training pipelines and design systematic model evaluation protocols.
  • Integrate AI models into enterprise systems including knowledge bases, authentication services, ticketing tools, and communication platforms.
  • Deploy models following MLOps practices and ensure robust monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Monitor data pipelines and AI systems for performance, reliability, and accuracy.
  • Optimize model performance, address data or concept drift, and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles, with at least 2 years working with production AI systems in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience in building and deploying production-level AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Strong coding skills, particularly in Python, and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools (i.e., Apache Airflow, Spark), cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, and GCP), and data warehousing (i.e., Snowflake and Redshift).
  • Deep understanding of natural language processing techniques and large language models (LLMs), including prompt engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying AI systems in cloud environments using containerized solutions and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable AI system architectures integrated with enterprise infrastructure.
  • Awareness of AI system security, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working with AI implementations in large, complex organizational environments such as education, healthcare, or public sector is preferred.
