Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong platform experience and an interest or background in HR Service Delivery (HRSD). This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing ServiceNow ecosystem and support enterprise-wide digital transformation within HR. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to build scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Develop and maintain applications, workflows, forms, and system integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Focus on HRSD modules such as Case Management, Lifecycle Events, and Employee Center.
- Translate HR service requirements into scalable, user-friendly technical solutions using platform best practices.
- Advise HR and HRIS stakeholders on platform capabilities and improvement opportunities.
- Identify, scope, and help prioritize HR service automation and modernization initiatives.
- Stay current with platform releases and contribute to the ServiceNow roadmap for HR technology.
- Provide Tier 2 support for HRSD-related issues and service requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, configurations, and user guides for internal teams.
- Mentor and support HR users in adopting ServiceNow solutions, promoting platform self-sufficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience (ITSM, CSM, or custom modules).
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development tools and architecture (i.e., Flow Designer, Script Includes, and ACLs).
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
- Effective communicator and collaborator in cross-functional environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD or related HR service automation is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with HR functions and handling of sensitive employee data is a plus.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications (i.e., Certified Application Developer and HRSD Implementation Specialist) are preferred.
- Experience working in secure or regulated environment (i.e., healthcare and public sector) is preferred.
- Due to the nature of the work, an Interim clearance is required, however the candidate will need to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret clearance is a plus).
